Dores Beach

A pebble beach stretching from the village of Dores and and the Dores Inn across to Torr Point

Inverfarigaig

A series of walks from the village of Inverfarigaig up into the hills above Loch Ness.

Foyers

A spectacular waterfall and woodland walks along the river Foyers, out to Loch Ness

Capital of the Highlands with something for everyone, just 8 miles from Pottery House.

Loch Ruthven

An RSPB reserve with Slavonian Greebes and a beautiful drive between there and Dores.

Chanonry Point

Reputed to be the best place in the UK to see Bottle-Nosed Dolphins.

Fairy Glen

An RSPB Nature reserve and a beautiful walk following a stream through a woodland Glen.

Fort Augustus

Town at the bottom end of Loch Ness

Lovely bay and beach to spend a sunny afternoon.

Loch Garten and Abernethy Forest

Famous Osprey Centre

Rogie Falls

Beautiful falls surrounded by lots of woodland walks.

Everything from Bison and Deer, to Artic Fox, Wild Cats and Linx.

Glen Affric

A beautiful Glen and a great day out from Pottery House
