From the South On The A9
As you reach Inverness heading north on the A9 your SatNav will probably tell
you to turn left onto the B851. This is a single track road and although it
winds through some beautiful scenery, is not the easiest route to Pottery House.
We suggest you remain on the A9 until your SatNav device tells you to turn off
onto the B8082.
From the North On The A9
As you come over the Kessock Bridge from the Black Isle your SatNav will
probably tell you to turn right onto the A82. This will take you through
Inverness. An alternative is to continue south on the A9 and your SatNav will
then tell you to turn off onto the B8082, a much quicker and less busy route
(unless of course you'd like to see Inverness).
Once In Dores
Our postcode is centred a little way down the
road from us, so when your Sat Nav says "Arriving at destination" it may not be
immediately obvious where we are. You need to drive a further 200 yards down the
road away from the village centre towards Foyers and you will then see the red
and yellow sign for Pottery House.
Alternately, if you download the "Pottery House
- Points Of Interest" files onto your device Pottery House appears in the
"Places To Visit" list. See below.
